Lactation Consultations

A home visit will include 1.5 hours of full evaluation where we will discuss everything since birth, baby's birth weight, and what issues or concerns you have. From there, we can provide a weighted feed, latch check, oral evaluation, help with pumping schedule, address any issues such as clogged ducts, mastitis, proper flange size, pace bottle feeding, supply issues, weaning from the nipple shield, etc. If you need any referrals, we can provide those as well. 

An office visit will include 1 hour of full evaluation, where we will discuss everything since birth, baby's birth weight, and what issues or concerns you have. Because babies grow and feeding needs change, our follow-ups give you space to check in, make adjustments, and keep moving toward your goals. Each visit builds on your progress and ensures you and your baby are supported through every stage of feeding.

Virtual visit will include 45 minutes of full evaluation where we will discuss everything since birth, baby's birth weight, and what issues or concerns you have. From there, we can provide help with pumping schedule, address any issues such as clogged ducts, mastitis, proper flange size, pace bottle feeding, supply issues, weaning from the nipple shield, etc. If you need any referrals, we can provide those as well.

This is great if you have some basic questions, such as pumping schedule, milk storage guidelines, how to tell if your baby is getting enough, and identify if there is a problem or not, and what it is. 

Whether you are exclusively pumping, need to return to work, or would just like to pump for a date night, we can go over flange size, pump settings, how to set up and use the pump, how often to pump, pump schedule moving forward, etc.

If you just need to know if your flanges are the right fit for you, we can size you and watch you pump to make sure they are, in fact, properly fitted.
